For over ten years Pangaea has been supporting artists and championing cutting-edge practices.
Pangaea Sculptors’ Centre is a platform supporting contemporary sculptors and fostering technical production excellence. Founded in 2013, and with bases in Coventry and London, it provides project management, technical and sculpture fabrication services. This spans digital sculpting and 3d scanning, to traditional carving, modelling and mould-making. All profits from these commercial strands of our work are reinvested into supporting our community objectives.
We produce our own public realm programmes and commissions, developed through embedded research, participation and engagement.
Female and artist-led, this not-for-profit Community Interest Company acts to support the advancement of sculpture and promotes and enriches wider public engagement through educational, critical and cultural programming. We are committed to making the ecology of sculpture more transparent, accessible, diverse and engaged.
Sculpture is understood in an expansive sense. We aim to remove barriers of entry into the profession, and support artists to have sustainable careers, through the range of services we offer. This prioritises technical and production skills which we believe are essential to the ongoing advancement of the discipline and the artists working within it.
