Susie Lawson has worked in the arts for over 20 years. She co-founded Branch Arts in 2017 to marry her experience as a communications specialist with her established reputation for realising partnerships and sharing her extensive network of creatives.

As a highly experienced arts publicist, Susie was formerly at the Royal Academy (RA) and The Photographers’ Gallery (TPG). Recent campaigns include the hugely successful launch of Frieze Masters, London and six years of the London Original Print Fair. Susie’s PR career encompasses both in-house and agency work before going freelance. After working for the agency Cawdell Douglas she moved to TPG and then to the press and marketing office at the RA, before running the Australian Festival of Chamber Music. As a consultant, clients have included Frieze Masters, The Gallery of Lost Art in conjunction with TATE and Channel 4, The Art Room, LOPF, Fine Cell Work, Marlborough Gallery and the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. With both PR and marketing expertise, Susie advises clients on strategic communication campaigns, using multiple platforms to engage with new and loyal audiences.

Throughout her career, Susie has been responsible for delivering campaigns from concept through to launch. Creative Partnerships she has realised include Facetime (Mall Galleries), Re-Work It (Selfridges) and ABC (CP+B) for The Art Room; Dialectical Materialism with Park Village (Karsten Schubert); the inaugural year of Live Friday’s (Ashmolean).
