We are thrilled to announce that we are launching a programme of Contemporary Sculpture Courses for kids in Coventry & Warwickshire! This is kicking off with Adventures in Material & Space, a one-week courses at the Daimler Powerhouse in Coventry 12-16th August 10-4 pm.

This course will focus on creative thinking and technical skills development in sculpture. Adopting a sensorial approach, we will give the children freedom to be curious about the world around them. By igniting imagination and playfulness, we will encourage expression through sculpture and design. We will harness the children’s creativity by allowing freedom of thought in an enabling and conscious environment whilst they explore sculptural activities. We want to bring children together in an inclusive environment to explore their own creative potential and discover the possibilities of art and sculpture.

Led by Artist & Educator Lauren Cooke, this course is influenced by her experience and training in the Montessori pedagogy, with a focus on movement and sensorial stimuli.

Pack lunch to be provided by parents/guardians. One piece of fruit to be provided by parents/guardians for our shared snack.
