Community Collection Of Waste Aluminium for New Collaborative Sculpture

The community came out in force to donate their unwanted aluminium for ‘Meltdown. From Trash to Treasure’. We collected over 75kg of recycled aluminium which was to be transformed into an experimental new site specific art work for Leamington Spa. (Albeit that due to inclement weather the related event had to be moved to FarGo Village in Coventry at the last minute.)

Drop off points were set-up at supporter venues BID Leamington, Park Court, Park St, Leamington Spa and Foundry Wood, Princes Drive. For large donations we collected directly.
