Run in school half-term and holidays, this series of art & sculpture workshops for children aged 6 – 12 focus on creative thinking and technical skills development in the expanded field of contemporary sculpture. Children may attend for one, two, or three days.
Each day functions as a complete learning experience while also contributing to an evolving studio environment. Activities are open-ended, allowing children to join at any point without missing prior learning.
The day follows a clear, supportive structure:
Mornings focus on large-scale, physical, and collaborative sculptural activities, encouraging children to use their bodies, senses, and imagination. Afternoons shift towards quieter, more reflective work such as drawing, construction, sensory making, or independent table-based activities. The studio is calm, open, and welcoming, with a dedicated rest and reflection zone for observation and regulation.

“Kids are under such pressure these days. Everything in life for us and them feels increasingly measured, judged, target driven and goal orientated. Your courses, so careful and thoughtfully delivered, carved out space for children just to “be” and to explore their own creativity in a safe and supportive environment.
Yes please…more of this, and maybe for adults as well.”
We believe in sculpture as a tool for cross-curricular learning. Through three-dimensional making, children explore ideas that connect disciplines such as science, story-telling, maths, nature and design.
Our school holiday workshops are designed to spark curiosity and creativity through direct engagement with materials. Each course has a unique focus, guiding children to discover new ways of thinking, making and collaborating.
We thoughtfully scaffold each child’s learning journey, helping them build knowledge, develop skills and grow in confidence. By the end of the course, children become confident advocates for their own creative journeys, culminating in a collaborative “in progress” exhibition for their grown-ups to come and enjoy.
